The Raleigh County Commission on Aging, Inc.(RCCOA) is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Senior Citizens of Raleigh county and their families.

Started in 1977 through the joint efforts of the West Virginia Commission on Aging, the Appalachian Area Agency on Aging and concerned citizens, the RCCOA has developed into a strong human services agency.  Our programs extend beyond our nutritional program at our senior center location.  We also serve Raleigh County seniors by offering case management, in-home care services; and family support services.

Connecting on a personal level is an important part of sharing ideas.  This connection has provided us with the opportunity to grow.

Our future plans include providing a brand new facility that offers an environment that will be both friendly and easy to use.

Our Mission:

For too many people, growing older means giving up the self-sufficient lifestyle they've always enjoyed.  At the Raleigh County Commission on Aging we're working to change that, we're helping people remain healthier, more active, and more independent than ever before.

Our Board of Directors
Our committment to the seniors of Raleigh County is unprecedented.  We are available to hear your thoughts at any time.
